ACTING AND PERFORMING
Interactive, group-based modules. Practical exercises which apply directly to the students’ personal and professional circumstances. Role and scene work to enhance the students’ performance.

- Exercises for practising expressiveness
- Improvisation and spontaneity
- Texts, monologues and scenes
- Dealing with nerves and stage fright
- Method acting exercises and role plays
Course outcome
Upon completion of this course, students are able to:
- describe the fundamentals and basic techniques of acting
- take joint responsibility for the success of a performance with other cast members
- use wit and improvisational skills in business-related situations
- apply acting techniques in business contexts
The Result: Student Presentations
PROFESSIONAL, AUTHENTIC PRESENTATION PITCHES WITH THAT CERTAIN SOMETHING
Over the course of a semester, students practise their presentation skills. Tools from improvisation theatre are presented to them, breathing and voice techniques, body language and acting tipps Hollywood stars use. Each of them then records their own short self-presentation video in the Green Screen Studio. Last step – they edit and finalize their videos. The result is really impressive!
